'Arul' means the attainment of oneness with a particular god or a selected few gods by a man. With Arul the man will become the sole and whole representative of the god or the gods. Simply stating, the man will become the personification of the god by attaining Arul. That is why the Siddharism repeatedly points out that 'Man can become God'.
The Siddharism alone preaches and teaches the means and methods for any man and every man to become god. Siddharism alone explains that through ages continuously human beings are getting evolved further to become gods.
Especially during the periods of Pathinen Siddhar Peedaathipathys not only the human beings but also all the flora and fauna become gods in plenty. (From these sayings, we can understand that this Arul cannot be attained by people belonging to other races.)
The Pathinen Siddhar Peedaathipathys and their direct heirs were generous enough to choose humans from all the races and by means of giving Arul they made these selected humans as gods. Thus, this Divine Power can be seen prevailing all over the world, even though the origin of the divinity is Tamilnadu through Tamil Language.
This accounts for the birth and existence of many religions and philosophies in this world. Because the Induism is the mother of all the religions and philosophies, it accepts and treats every other religion equally and no religion or philosophy is antagonistic to Induism.
